Green Club members on a CIP cum hiking trip to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

Flora and Fauna at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

It was a good experience for me . It reflects the time when there was nature everywhere and not many concrete jungle. Walking through the trail was like traveling back in time .
I thought it would be another boring trip . Somehow , after the whole hike , I had a new and better appreciation of the forests and their beauty .
-It was tiring but I also bonded with my classmates as we encourage one another.
-My favorite was walking through the muddy path . I learned to conquer myself, with perserverance and determination to walk through the slippery, muddy and steep slopes.
Comments from the pupils:
- Kept a look out for my friends, telling them to be careful not to trip and fall into the muddy areas
- Walked in an orderly manner when walking on precipitous area
- Behaved ourselves by not talking loudly with my friends, so that we would not disturb the animals there.
- Learnt many interesting and useful information about the reserve
