National Youth Environment Water Conference

Our pupils attended a National Youth Water Conference on Saturday 27 March at Singapore Polytechnic.
They listened to keynote speakers, Prof Jeff Obbard (NUS) and Mr Dorjee Sun (CEO, Carbon Conservation and TIME Magazine Environmental Hero 2009) on the topic of 'Building and Fostering a Sustainable Community'




The highlight of the day was a dialogue session with Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources.


The pupils also had the opportunity to participate in small group discussions on a sustainable community through project such as Energy Efficiency, Water Conservation, Recycling and Littering.
Joni Tan participated at a workshop on recycling.


Learning Journey to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves


Green Club members went on a Learning Journey to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on Friday 27 March where they learn about flora and fauna and the importance of mangrove ecosystem.

Earth Hour Saturday 27 March
